Made from thermofleece, the Santini Coral Bengal bib tights are very comfortable and well-made.

They feel soft on the skin and, according to Santini, are made for temperatures between zero and ten degrees celsius, so are ideal for long days in the saddle.

I have worn these a fair amount in winter through howling wind and rain, and for the most part the bib tights worked well. They are very breathable and wash beautifully.

However when the temperature does drop considerably and the rain pours down you may want to opt for something with more protection as I did start to feel some wind chill.

The brand’s Gilevo chamois has a seamless construction and anti-shock gel core which gave me all-round comfort, and I had no issues spending five hours in the saddle wearing these.

The chamois is excellent. It is also quite subtle, compared to others I have tested, which I particularly liked.

The Santini bib tights come in several different colours including blue (shown in the photographs), pink and black, and white and black, and the design is quite stylish and flattering.

Santini Coral Bengal Women’s bib tights fit and sizing

I'm around six foot tall and didn’t have any issues with the leg length.

The integrated base layer is comfortable and stretchy, to the point where I wore an XL but for a closer fit the L was also an option, it just depends on preference.

If you run hot like me, the base layer can be a real attribute on a cold day when a full base layer would make you too warm.

The ankles don’t feature a zip fastening which makes them slightly trickier to get on but it also means there is no chance of an itchy and distracting zip when riding.

These bib tights have a reflective finish on the calves for visibility and would work well paired with the Santini Vega Multi jacket

Of note is that these bib tights do not offer a comfort break option which in my view is a shame.

Santini Coral Bengal Women’s bib tights bottom line

Overall, the Santini Coral Bengal Women’s bib tights are really comfortable and have a great chamois which makes them ideal for long days in the saddle.

I wouldn’t recommend these for seriously harsh winter conditions but for anything else, these work a charm. At £119, the price is reasonable too.
